When will Subaru inventory improve for new car shoppers looking for a 2024 Crosstrek, 2024 Impreza, 2023 Forester, and 2023 Outback? It should improve now as Subaru Corporation released its new production report.
Subaru Corporation says its new vehicle production is up at its Gunma Japan factory and its U.S. factory in Lafayette, Indiana. That's good news for new car shoppers looking for an all-new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek subcompact SUV, a next-generation 2024 Subaru Impreza compact hatchback, and Forester compact SUV.
Subaru announced its new model production and export numbers in its Japanese factory. New vehicle production increased 24.1 percent in May, the fourth month of consecutive increase. Subaru makes the U.S.-specification 2023 Subaru Forester, all-new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Base and Premium trims, the new 2024 Subaru Impreza compact hatchback, the 2023 Subaru WRX performance car, and the BRZ sports coupe at the Japanese factory.
Subaru Corporation says exports from Japan increased 15.2 percent in May, the fourth month of consecutive increase. This means more Forester compact SUVs, the new 2024 Crosstrek Base and Premium subcompact SUVs, and new 2024 Impreza hatchbacks are coming to U.S. customers.
New models are now built in the U.S. factory.
The all-new 2024 Crosstrek Sport and Limited trim levels, now built in Indiana, are arriving this summer, and the outdoor-themed Crosstrek Wilderness, also made in the U.S. factory, will come this fall for U.S. customers.
Production improves in the U.S. factory.
Subaru also announced its new model production and export numbers at Subaru of Indiana Automotive. According to the report, new vehicle production increased 26.5 percent in May, the fourth month of a consecutive increase. Subaru makes the all-new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Sport and Limited trims, 2024 Subaru Outback (coming this fall), 2023 Subaru Ascent, and 2023 Subaru Legacy in Lafayette, Indiana.
More new Forester and Crosstrek models are shipped from Japan
Subaru Corporation says the new model export total this year was up 18.1 percent. It is the fourth consecutive month of export increase. As a result, Subaru of America's new model inventory of the Forester compact SUV and next-generation 2024 Crosstrek subcompact SUV will improve in the last six months of 2023.
What is the price of the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek?
For 2024, the Crosstrek will be available in Base, Premium, Sport, and Limited trim levels and has a starting price of $26,290 (the same MSRP as the 2023 Base model equipped with the Lineartronic CVT automatic transmission).
The 2024 Crosstrek Premium has a starting price of $27,440, Sport ($30,290), and Limited ($32,190). Pricing includes destination and delivery fees ($1,225). The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness costs $33,290, including dealer destination and delivery fees ($1,295).
Subaru of America's new model inventory of the next-generation 2024 Impreza compact hatchback models will improve in the last six months of 2023.
What is the price of the 2024 Subaru Impreza?
The 2024 Subaru Impreza Base hatchback starts at $24,085, the Sport hatch starts at $26,085, and the all-new RS hatch with the 2.5-liter Boxer engine starts at $28,975. Pricing includes destination and delivery fees ($1,090).
Subaru Corporation released its new model production and export numbers for May. It's good news for new Crosstrek, Outback, Forester, Impreza, Ascent, WRX, and BRZ customers as Subaru Corporation and Subaru of Indiana Automotive ramp up production of its new models for the fourth consecutive month. As a result, new model inventory and wait times for the new models should improve.

I know that the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Onyx is only available in Canada (in North America)for the moment . I have ordered one and it should arrive in Mid August. That being said, I would like to know in which bracket this trim fits in relation to the U.S. produced Crosstrek models.
