Fiat and Hoonigan are looking for a fast woman to drive their 400 hp rally car. The search is now well underway and has been narrowed to six finalists.

Fast Fiat Women
The original field of 150 women has been narrowed to just six. They include Michelle Abbate (Las Vegas, Nevada), Collete Davis (San Francisco, California), Sally McNulty (Phoenix, Arizona), Sara Price (Canyon Lake, California), Rathyna Gomer (Colton, California) and Suzanne Valdivia (Modesto, California). One of these six will eventually become the “Next Female Hoonigan” and a chance to race the Fiat 124 Spider Abarth Rally car.

The search was kicked off by Hoonigan athlete and Top Fuel drag racer Leah Pritchett, the host of the program launch video. Between April 18 and concluded May 10, applicants to made their case in one-minute videos explaining why they are fast enough to handle Fiat’s competition vehicle. On May 24 the six tackled some warm-up challenges before heading to the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Fiat 124 Spider Abarth Rally Car
The 124 Spider Abarth that the group are competing to drive looks like any ordinary Abarth Spider, but it packs over 400 hp and many other rally modifications.

Final Selection
The winner and next pilot of the Fiat 124 Spider Abarth rally car will be announced Friday, July 14rth following the last challenge - A Mount Washington Hill Climb – a fitting venue considering the history of the Abarth name.
