The newest vehicles to join the 2016 Dream Giveaway are a pair of Chevrolet Corvette convertibles, including a gorgeous 1965 Corvette Stingray and a 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible modified to the tune of 800 horsepower by the folks at Lingenfelter – and you could win them both for as little as $3.

Each year since 2008, the Dream Giveaway people have offered at least one contest where people bought tickets in an effort to win a car or two – or cash or electronics or a variety of other prizes. While there have been other items in the Dream Giveaway contest, cars have been the heart of the system since its introduction back in 2008 and from day one, the Chevrolet Corvette has been included in the process.

For the 2016 Dream Giveaway, the Corvette Dream Giveaway is back for the 9th time and this newest pairing just might be the most impressive – with an 800hp C7 Z06 from Lingenfelter and a pristine 1965 Stingray.

2016 Corvette Dream Giveaway
The 2016 Corvette Dream Giveaway features two examples of the all-American sports car – including a rare 1965 Corvette Stingray Convertible and an even rarer 2016 Corvette Z06 Lingenfelter Signature Edition Convertible.

The 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is one of just 25 built with the 396 cubic inch big block V8 with 425hp mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and a positraction rear end. As you can see in the image above, the 1965 Corvette is black with lots of chrome trim and a bright red interior.

The 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is the first fitted with the Lingenfelter Signature Edition package, which upgrades the LT4 engine with a new camshaft, ported and polished cylinder head and a package specific engine tune – which lifts the output from 650hp and 650lb-ft of torque to 800hp and 800lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to the 8-speed automatic transmission for the quickest configuration possible, while the Z07 performance package, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes and the Competition seats. There is no chrome on this Corvette, but it has a similar black and red theme inside and out, as well as unique Lingenfelter badging inside, outside and under the hood.

You Can Win These for $3
According to the fine print that goes along with this contest, the Lingenfelter Signature Edition Corvette Z06 and the 1965 Corvette Stingray have a combined value of $250,000, but you could win them both for as little as $3. Buying a single ticket in the Corvette Dream Giveaway costs just $3 and the more you buy, the less each ticket costs. For example, you can buy 1,200 tickets for just $1,000, making each ticket just 83 cents or, if you are a high roller, you can buy 6000 tickets for $5,000.

If one of your tickets is pulled, you win these two gorgeous Corvette convertibles and the contest will pay $50,000 towards the taxes incurred on these two cars – so you literally come away with these two cars for as much as you spend on tickets. Best of all, the proceeds of this contest go to benefit the New Beginning Children's Homes, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so the cost of your tickets is tax deductible!

Tickets for the 2016 Corvette Dream Giveaway will be on sale until December 28, 2016 and the winner will be drawn on or around January 16, 2017. Click here for more information on the contest, the cars and the tickets!
