Ford F250, F350 and F450 Super Duty Limited: A New Level of Luxury

Ford Motor Company announced today that a new Limited trimline for the F250, F350 and F450 pickups will arrive for the 2018 model year, lifting the level of available luxury to a whole new level – while still offering all of the working abilities of the Super Duty lineup.

While it might seem crazy to some drivers, a great many people who buy high priced, heavy duty pickups tend to buy more heavily appointed models. In fact, over the course of the 2017 calendar year, more than half of all Super Duty pickups have been in a higher end trimline, including the Lariat, the King Ranch or the Platinum. However, some customers still want more luxury out of their heavy duty pickup and for those folks, Ford Motor Company has just taken the wraps off of the 2018 Super Duty Limited – which introduces a new level of premium luxury to the hardest working F-Series pickups.

“The Super Duty lineup is a win for all of our customers, from successful ranchers to contractors to RV owners,” said Todd Eckert, Ford Truck group marketing manager. “Super Duty Limited is the most luxurious and advanced heavy-duty pickup truck ever created by Ford for accomplished buyers, with appetites for the high life and hard-earned dollars to match.”

The 2018 Ford Super Duty Limited
The new Limited trimline for the 2018 Ford Super Duty is available on the F250, the F350 and the F450, and while you can select single or dual rear wheels (on applicable models), this new premium package only comes with the Crew Cab, four wheel drive and the 6.7L PowerStroke diesel V8 engine is standard.

Next, the 2018 Super Duty Limited features the most heavily appointed interior ever for a Ford truck, with Camelback two tone leather seats, premium stitched leather on the steering wheel, armrests and instrument panel, a suede headliner, hand-finished dark ash wood trim through the cabin, package-specific badging, the latest premium Sync infotainment system and a serial number laser-etched on the center armrest.

Next the Super Duty Limited offers more premium technology than any F-Series package before it, with a high-definition 360-degree camera with Trailer Reverse Guidance, a blind spot system with trailer coverage, adaptive cruise control, lane keep alert, forward collision warning with automatic braking, a flat rear load floor with locking storage, a full panoramic moonroof and heated/cooled seats.

Finally, the outside of the 2018 Super Duty Limited gets a unique twin-bar satin grille with chrome trim, quad beam LED headlights and a satin finished tailgate applique – along with huge polished wheels and plenty of chrome trim from top to bottom.

The 2018 Ford F250, F350 and F450 in Limited trim really only come loaded, but there is a downside to that. The 2018 F250 Limited starts at $80,835 including destination, while the F350 starts at $82,010 and the F450 starts at a whopping $87,100. Also, while full pricing is not yet available, Ford does point out that a loaded 2018 F450 Limited tops out around $94,455 – so the day of the $100,000 pickup truck is not far off.

If you are interested in one of these premium luxury work trucks, they will begin reaching dealerships this winter, so you could have a new $80k+ truck just in time for the worst road conditions of the year.
