New for 2024, Jeep is Adding More AEV Packages to Make Wrangler Rubicons and Willys Even More Rugged

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler AEV trim packages sold out in two hours, so Jeep is expanding the AEV lines in 2024.

Off-roading continues to be a huge draw and now Jeep is expanding on a proven winner. As we reported last February, AEV designed a special upfitter’s package to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with AEV trim was so popular it sold out in just two hours. New for 2024, Jeep has arranged for three enhanced AEV packages for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Willys.

The new AEV or American Expedition Vehicles packages will be available in three versions: Upcountry, Upcountry+ and Level II. For the first time ever, AEV upfit packages will be available for Wrangler Willys. The new packages will add 2-inch suspension lifts and huge tires, making the Wranglers even more capable out on the trails.

“The additional AEV packages allow legendary Jeep 4x4 capability to be accessible to more Wrangler owners,” said Jim Morrison, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America. “This array of upfit packages for the 2024 Wrangler gives off-road enthusiasts the ability to select the path that best suits their off-roading adventures.”

New AEV Packages

The Level II upfit by AEV, adds huge 37-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The 2-inch lift kit and the larger tires create the most capable Wranglers ever with 14.2 inches of ground clearance, 37.1 inches water fording, 50-degree approach angle, 33-degree breakover angle and 43-degree departure angle. The 2024 Jeep Wranglers will be sent to AEV so that the upfitting can be completed before the owners take delivery.

The three exclusive packages are outlined below. The Level II includes all the bells and whistles but is also the most expensive at $20,049. The Level II package for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe is $22,099 (it includes 4.56 gear upgrade).
