Focus heavy on design and technology during NAIAS 2012 press days

There are unique aspects to every major auto show, especially hype which is ever present during press days; so the NAIAS 2012 will be no different. However, be prepared for more coverage by TorqueNews this year from press day events on design and technology.

Expect TorqueNews writers to collectively be your wing-man as well as your eyes and ears at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS 2012) with more tweets, more photos, more videos and interviews, and more articles starting with press days and extending throughout the nine days of the public show.

While NAIAS 2011 featured 53 vehicle debuts with 32 of those being worldwide introductions, over 5,000 journalists attended from 55 countries; and TorqueNews reporters, Patrick Rall and me (Frank Sherosky) were there; and we will be there for NAIAS 2012.

In particular, expect specially-focused coverage by this reporter on automotive technology and EyesOn Design.

For the record, this will be the second official attendance at NAIAS by TorqueNews, since entering the auto news media scene in late 2010. However, that has not been the case for most of the reporters on staff, many which have been writing about autos for many years, and were proud to join TN as a new entity. For more on some of their profiles, click TorqueNews Reporters here or at bottom of every page.

While perusing some comments after being linked at seekingalpha.com today, regarding an article about a new battery technology company, one reader wondered how long TorqueNews had been around. Fair question. Another reader replied with the following:

“TorqueNews is one of the leading auto news sites in the United States. Relatively new entrant, it has become increasingly authoritative when it comes to covering car news.” [Ref links below article]

Certainly these kind words were well received and appreciated by the writers of TorqueNews. And your comments are always welcome below each and every article.
