New Subaru Outback, Forester, Crosstrek, And Other Models Reliability Rating For 2024 Ranked From Best To Worst

How reliable are Subaru vehicles? I cover Subaru's reliability ranking consistently, and they are changing from year to year. A newly updated report from iSeeCars ranks all Subaru models from best to worst for the 2024 model year. 

iSee Cars found the most reliable Subaru model, which ranks the highest in its vehicle category, is the Subaru Outback, which ranks 2 out of 19 most reliable small SUVs. Following the Outback are the Subaru Forester and the Subaru Impreza (wagon). I've included all Subaru vehicles and their rankings below.

The redesigned 2024 Subaru Crosstrek subcompact SUV nearly has a perfect score of 100 compared with other new cars. The Forester compact SUV is the other standout model, with a score in the 80s. The surprise model is the WRX performance sports car that gets a high score and is now a recommended model by Consumer Reports.

Why are the two different studies so much different?

The iSeeCars study ranks the Subaru models compared with other vehicles in their category. iSeeCars analyzed over 12 million cars to determine how reliable each Subaru model is and how it ranks relative to its competition.

Meanwhile, Consumer Reports ranks the 2024 Subaru models by asking Subaru owners about their vehicle problems in the previous 12 months. This year, they gathered data on over 330,000 cars from the 2000 to 2023 model years, with a few early-introduced 2024 model years.

I cover Subaru model reliability every year, and Subaru ranks consistently high in reliability compared with other automakers. 

This is the latest information regarding the reliability of the 2024 Subaru Outback, Subaru Forester, Subaru Crosstrek, and other all-wheel-drive Subaru models. However, as Subaru makes changes to their new models, reliability changes too. I'll keep you updated as I learn more about each new model.
