Allpar offers a new teaser of the 2013 Dodge Dart R/T

Shown on the right, the image from Dart-Mouth.com shows the majority of the car’s front end; offering us our best official look yet of the hood, grille and lighting layout of the 2013 Dodge Dart. Based on the similarities between this Dart and the sporty sedan shown in the previously released rear end teasers, we can presume that this Dart features the R/T trimline although it is hard to predict how much of the R/T package will vary from the rest of the 2013 Dart lineup.

This new teaser of the 2013 Dodge Dart features a heavily blacked out front fascia with black headlight bezels, foglight bezels, lower and upper grille openings and the thick bar running through the middle of the front fascia – which is similar in design to the look of the unique front end found on the 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8. Including the familiar Dodge brand crosshair grille, these black finishes up front vary between high gloss and flatter, satin finishes for a very sporty look. The grille is finished off with the small Dodge logo featuring the red hashmarks on the lower driver’s side quadrant.

The headlight and foglight both appear to offer a projection style lens – possibly featuring LED technology and the black bezels of the headlight pour down into the large grille opening. Along with wrapping around a bit into the fenders, the headlights travel up into the muscular peak of the front fenders and it is hard to tell whether the foglight bezel is trimmer in silver or if that is an LED driving/accent light…although it sure looks like an LED bar to me.

Finally, we can see that the center section of the hood from the 2013 Dodge Dart has a channel in the middle, with sharp lines giving it a sporty, low profile look.

Dodge has been slowly teasing the 2013 Dodge Dart so even though the official debut is set for January 9th, 2012…we can expect the Chrysler Group and diehard fans like the folks at Allpar.com and Dart-Mouth.com to keep us wanting for more with more teasers ahead of the world premiere of the new C segment sedan.
