The 2011 Dodge Challenger goes Green With Envy at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show

The big news from Dodge at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show is the introduction of the 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 but the performance oriented brand is also using the Windy City show to introduce the newest special edition color for the Dodge Challenger – Green With Envy.

Dodge has offered a variety of special edition color-based packages (most recently Furious Fuchsia) and like the prior high impact color Challenger, the Green With Envy package is available on the 2011 Challenger R/T Classic and Challenger SRT8 392. A green exterior like this has not been offered on the Challenger but the 2010 Dodge Viper SRT10 was available with a similar (but slightly lighter) paint choice with the name Viper Snakeskin Green Pearl. Chevrolet offers a similar color on the 2011 Camaro with the name Synergy Green which has proven to be very popular.

The 2011 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic Green With Envy limited edition models include the brilliant green exterior paint with your choice of either matte black or bright white stripes running along the side of the car. Inside, the Green With Envy Challenger includes green stitching on the Dark Slate seats and along the center console. The limited edition Green 2011 Challenger R/T Classic also comes with all of the standard goodies from the R/T Classic, including vintage-look fender and grille badging, functional hood scoops, and a Boston Acoustics premium sound system. Most importantly, the Green With Envy Challenger R/T Classic comes with the 372 horsepower, 5.7L Hemi V8 with the choice of an automatic or manual transmission. The Green With Envy limited edition Challenger R/T Classic starts at $35,785 with the destination fee.

The 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 Green With Envy limited edition model is powered by the new 392 cubic inch Hemi, pushing out 470 horsepower and 470lb-ft of torque via your choice of a manual or automatic transmission. The bright metallic Green With Envy limited edition package comes with black full-body stripes running over the car, shown in the image above and the gallery below. Inside, the SRT8 392 Green With Envy edition includes the Dark Slate Nappa leather featuring Green With Envy accents bands and stitch work on the front and rear seats, along with more Green stitching on the center console. The 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 Green With Envy limited edition starts at $44,875 including the destination fee.
