Solar Octane Explosion: 2023 Toyota Tacoma, Tundra, 4Runner, Sequoia TRD Pro

Solar Octane has been announced as the special unique color for 2023 Toyota TRD Pro models. This includes Toyota Tacoma, Toyota Tundra, Toyota 4Runner, and Toyota Sequoia.

I recently had the opportunity to see them up close and personal in Texas at the Toyota Product Showcase. In the middle of an open field. Practically in the middle of nowhere.

Talk about a color explosion.

2023 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro

This one may be the darling of the group since it is the newest. Plenty of buzz here in Toyota circles. This will replace Lunar Rock, which was the focal point of the Sequoia TRD Pro color lineup for 2022.

2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro

Last year Toyota chose Lime Rush for its big-attraction TRD Pro color. This year, Solar Octane brings an entirely different kind of first impression.

2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro

Toyota Tacoma is pivoting from its 2022 Electric Lime Metallic TRD Pro to Solar Octane.

The question I have here is will this one draw you in enough to pull the trigger and get one?

2023 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro

The interesting story with 2023 Tundra is that Solar Octane for Tundra TRD Pro is actually replacing itself – Solar Octane.

This was the same signature color for 2022 Tundra TRD Pro, but since it was recently just launched for retail sale, it makes sense to make it a carryover color.
