Need More HEMI in Your Life? Dodge is Making it Easier to Find its 2024 Dodge 'Last Call' Durango

As Dodge shifts to produce more EVs, it is phasing out its high-horsepower HEMI models. Now, Dodge is making it easier for fans to find a 2024 Dodge Durango HEMI before they disappear.

I reported earlier when Dodge announced that it was phasing out its 2024 Dodge Durango SRT 392 with special ‘Last Call’ models. The 2024 Dodge Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI is the first of those special limited editions. Now Dodge is restarting its Dodge Horsepower Locator to make it easier for fans to track down one of the special editions. Dodge only plans to produce 1,000 of the all-wheel-drive 2024 Dodge Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI. Other ‘Last Call’ models of the Durango will be announced later this year.

The 2024 Dodge Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI, announced earlier this year, is the first in a series of Last Call models that will commemorate the final calendar year of V-8 HEMI engine production for the Dodge Durango.  The Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI has special Brembo brakes, honeycomb-textured dual exterior stripes with yellow accents, black “392” vinyl fender decals with yellow accents and 20-by-10-inch lightweight  wheels.

The AlcHEMI is the first in the final run of 475-horsepower Durango SRT 392 V-8 models, which will end production in July at the close of the 2024 model year.

Another Set of Last Call Models is Coming in 2025

The 2025 Dodge Durango model year 'Last Call' special-edition vehicles will celebrate the 5.7L HEMI-powered Durango R/T. The 2025 models will also celebrate the legendary 710-horsepower Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat, which is the most powerful SUV ever. The Hellcat is powered by the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat V-8 engine. The final production of the Durango R/T and Durango SRT Hellcat is set to wrap up by December 31, 2024.

How the Horsepower Locator Tool Works

As you may recall, Dodge ran an incredibly successful ‘Last Call’ campaign when it phased out its 2023 Dodge Chargers and Challengers. I reported extensively on the seven different special editions that commemorated classic Charger and Challenger models. Dodge also introduced its planned muscle car EV called the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona EV.

The Dodge Horsepower Locator tool helped fans find the Challenger and Charger ‘Last Call’ models and now will help fans find the final Dodge Durangos. The tool refines searches by vehicle color and zip code radius, helping customers more quickly locate a dealer with a Durango ‘Last Call’ model.

The Horsepower Locator provides dealer information and a link to a dealer website, making reaching out and placing orders easy.

Full details on 2025 model year Dodge Durango Last Call special-edition models will be shared later this year. Dealer allocation information on all Durango “Last Call” models will be available through the Dodge Horsepower Locator.
