Tesla Rep Confirms Cybertruck Delivery Precise Month

A Tesla employee has confirmed that Tesla is internally targeting this October to hold what is expected to be a first-of-its-kind delivery event for the Cybertruck.

Tesla is in the final stages of starting Cybertruck volume production. Currently, Tesla is producing 5 to 10 production candidate Cybertrucks a day. After starting building the Cybertruck at Giga Texas only last month, the EV maker has now produced well over 100 trucks.

Tesla is sending these trucks to service centers all across the country and is expected to hold a first-of-its-kind delivery event where the EV maker hands over to customers Cybertrucks at several locations at once during an official delivery event.

Tesla has also started sending out the first Cybertruck delivery event invites and is also running a new pay-to-attend program where individuals can pay 30,000 Credits to attend the live-streamed event.

All these moves certainly suggest that Tesla is close to starting Cybertruck deliveries, however, until now, Tesla has yet to announce an official delivery event date. That’s at least until today.

Thanks to a YouTuber who ran across two Cybertruck prototypes testing on an off-road trail, we now know that Tesla is internally targeting October to hand over the first Cybertrucks to customers.

The YouTuber after spotting the two Cybertrucks talked to the Tesla employees tasked with testing the trucks. During his conversation, he got confirmation on some information we already know such as the adjustable air suspension and rear cameras.

However, the YouTuber also learned from one of the Tesla employees that the EV maker is targeting next month for the official delivery event. Currently, we’re in the middle of September which means we’re only two to six weeks out from seeing one of those futuristic trucks being driven by an actual customer.

In addition, during the delivery event, Tesla is also expected to finally reveal some information regarding the truck including the Cybertruck’s range, performance numbers, powertrain configuration, charging speed, battery size, and so on.

Tesla will also confirm the starting price of the Cybertruck which based on Elon Musk’s recent statements is expected to be below $50,000. Having said that, there are some leaks that suggest the initial version of the Cybertruck will have a mid $70,000 starting price.

The Cybertruck according to some estimations has already garnered over 2 million reservations. This means even though Tesla begins deliveries next month, it will be a while before everyone who puts a deposit on a Cybertruck is able to purchase the truck.

Currently, we still have a lot we don’t know regarding the truck however, we’ll be sure to keep you posted when we learn more about Tesla’s plans. Until then, make sure to visit our site torquenews.com/Tesla regularly for the latest updates.
