Meet the New 2017 Subaru BRZ Series.Yellow Special Edition

Subaru brought the new 2017 Subaru BRZ Series.Yellow Special Edition to Wicked Big Meet today for its debut. It’s limited to just 500 units and will be available sometime in 2017. What sets it apart beside the bright yellow exterior?

It gets unique yellow interior accents, Brembo performance brakes and SACHS performance shocks. This is available on any 2017 BRZ if you order the new BRZ performance package.

The Performance Package is available on Limited models with the 6-speed gearbox. BRZ Series.Yellow Special Edition gets the package that features Brembo calipers and larger rotors on both front and rear brakes for better stopping power. Subaru says the advanced braking system gives BRZ a significant boost in stopping power, fade resistance, and pedal feel.

The package also includes SACHS Performance shock absorbers on all four corners for improved ride and corning stability. Also included in the package are special 17-in x 7.5-in black aluminum alloy wheels.

Inside features

Inside, it gets black leather and Alcantara upholstery with contrasting yellow stitching throughout the interior. This comes on the seats, door and dash panels, steering wheel, knee pads and shifter boot. The front seatbacks are embroidered with a yellow BRZ logo. It also features carpeted floor mats with yellow stitching and a silver embroidered BRZ logo.

The 2017 Subaru BRZ Series.Yellow made its first public appearance at Wicked Big Meet today. It’s the largest gathering of Subaru enthusiasts in America and held at Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford Springs, CT. The Series.Yellow will arrive in Subaru showrooms sometime in 2017. Pricing will be announced closer to dealer launch.
