2. The main reason Subaru waited to bring the all-new six-generation Forester is because of parts shortages and supply chain issues still plaguing the Japanese automaker and the auto industry. If you can't get new parts, you can't offer a new model to customers.

3. The 2023 Subaru Forester is in high demand, and Subaru can't supply its global customers with enough new models. You won't find any new 2023 Subaru Foresters on retailers' lots. If you see some, they are pre-sold and waiting for customers to complete the transaction.

4. The longer Subaru Corporation delays the next-generation Forester launch, it gives the economy time to recover from the high inflation. Auto loan interest rates are high, and many customers can't afford the payments. It will help Subaru retailers in the U.S. if interest rates come down sometime next year before the Presidential election.
