One huge reason to opt for the Fiat 124 Spider Abarth for 2017

Fiat has just made picking the Abarth version of its new 124 Spider much easier.

Of the nearly 300 new car models for sale in the U.S., only a handful are really suited to both back-roads cruising and blasting around a racetrack. One that fills both roles perfectly is the all-new 2017 Fiat 124 Spider Abarth. This car was recently named "favorite roadster" by a TN tester. Now owners will get a chance to learn how to control this exciting car on a racetrack and get a chance to wring it out courtesy of Fiat and the Bob Bondurant School of High-Performance Driving.

Fiat has just announced that “All customers who purchase or lease a Fiat 124 Spider Abarth or Fiat 500 Abarth will receive – for no charge – a one-day session of high-performance driving with professional instruction and time on the track as part of the FIAT package.”
- Curious which is quicker, the Miata or the 124 Spider?
The Bondurant school’s one-day package includes “…classroom instruction. Guests will then join in instructor-led skid, slalom, auto-cross, team rally cross activities, as well as hot laps.” There is also an optional second day offered. That day includes a 180- to 220-mile “Road Rally” on the scenic Arizona highways and lunch with other participants.

The staff at Torque News include graduates of a number of driving school programs. We feel there are five things you can learn at these schools that could save your life. For more information on the Bondurant school, check out its website. The 124 Spider Abarth cars arrive at the Arizona school in November and Bondurant offers paid driving schools to non-Abarth owners of course.
