Lexus Completely Dominates 2015 Kelly Blue Book Top Resale Value listings

Critics can dismiss customer surveys about Lexus quality as just opinion, but resale values are harder to argue.

Lexus wins pretty much every quality award, tops customer surveys, and even takes home the gold in used car data-based analysis. Now, Kelly Blue Book, the most trusted source of used car values, has released its 2015 Best Resale Value Awards and Lexus absolutely dominates the top spots.

Lexus Wins Top Three Spots in Entry-Level Luxury Category
The Entry-Level Luxury category is the category defined by the BMW 3-Series, 4-Series, and Acura TLX. However, you won’t find any of those models or brands in this category’s top three spots for resale value. Lexus took them all. The new Lexus RC coupe already blew past the BMW 4-Series and the IS series beats the BMW 3-Series for resale value. Lexus’ ES 350 wraps up the third place position and makes sure that no front-drive Audi or Acuras sneak in.

Lexus Wins High-End Luxury Car Category
If you were expecting Lexus to win only the “easy” luxury categories, you would be disappointed. KBB says that the Lexus LS 460 is the top vehicle for resale value in the High-End Luxury car category. We would be remiss if we did not mention that this one was very close. The Porsche Panamera was a virtual tie here, but we report what the facts are the fact is KBB says the Lexus is number one.

Lexus Wins 6 of 7 Categories
Counting the Hybrid Crossover category win by the Lexus RX 450h, Lexus took home 6 of 7 possible categories. It wins Best Luxury Car with the GS 350, Best Mid-sized Luxury Crossover/SUV with the GX 460, and the LX 570 wins the Full-Size Luxury SUV category. Sorry, Cadillac Escalade.

Lexus did have one KBB category where it was 1 point behind the Luxury winner, and that was the Luxury Compact Crossover category. Lexus only introduced its new NX 200t four weeks ago and already it is within one point of the winner. Give it a month.

Top reliability is the most important feature in a new care purchase and the most difficult for manufactures to achieve. For me, the only brands to consider are Acura, Honda, Infinity, Lexus, and Toyota.

In Switzerland is also the same. They keep very good their value. In Deutschland the do better than Benz and Bmw but they are behind the AUDI.

However, the Lexus sister's brand Toyota had recalled over a million car around the world last year. Why can't the company make or produce their product better?
