Tesla is one of the most well known names in the modern day automotive industry. It is the leading automotive manufacturer for battery powered cars. Yes, that means zero gasoline usage. It is without question that the evil genius behind this company, Elon Musk, has done anything except the abnormal. Their brand released their first car in 2008 and today in 2020 it is one of the most popular and practical options you can get on the market. Tesla’s have entered the market from the top down as they are quickly on their way to meet the $20,000 to $30,000 price mark, but their most popular models are $35,000 and above.

The brand is most noted by their quirky leader, their long range capabilities under one singular charge, their surprising performance aspects, and their cutting edge technology. Currently, the Model S holds the record for the longest range on one charge which was 370 miles, but Elon claims 400 miles is coming soon and also claims that the coming soon 2nd gen Tesla Roadster will not only be the fastest production car, but it will also have a range of 620 miles which is absurd.

Since Tesla Motors is still keeping the chosen site(s) under wraps, some have taken it upon themselves to find out where the Tesla Gigafactory will be located. There is now strong evidence that Reno, Nevada is at the very least a final candidate.

Two iron-willed drivers from the car shopping site Edmunds.com drove a Tesla Model S from Redondo Beach, California to New York, NY in just 67 hours and 21 minutes. The feat is further demonstration that taking a Tesla on long road trips is becoming more and more convenient.

As far as names go, Tesla doesn’t delve too deeply into the depths of creativity. Somehow it seems to work quite well, and the naming of their most important car yet follows the pattern.

A misinformed jab at Tesla’s Supercharger network by fuel cell-minded Hyundai and a counter-punch from the electric automaker remind us that car companies really don’t like being linked to government backing, yet this will become an increasingly important issue.

Green car sales for the first half of the 2014 are not on-pace to match 2013. How can our average fuel economy be improving even as green car sales are declining?

This weekend at least three people were killed in a Toyota Corolla when a driver in a Tesla Model S rear-ended them. Could a safety feature found on most cars in the Tesla’s price range, but not on Teslas, have prevented the tragedy?

In analyzing the Gigafactory plans, it's clear the CEO Elon Musk has no plans to improve the batteries themselves. So the big "breakthrough" in battery tech that EV enthusiasts always claim is coming anytime now? Well..

Tesla has had problems with Model S battery fires before. Very early on July 4 another Tesla caught fire after a collision resulting in an aftermath that must be seen to be believed.

When Elon Musk said he would do something controversial with regard to Tesla’s patents, few expected he would open all of them to outside use. But that is exactly what the CEO has done, and the implications are unpredictable.

Speculation has run rampant since Elon Musk recently hinted more than once that he would open up several patents and would be happy to offer Supercharger access to other automakers. But will it amount to anything?

It is fairly common, when the subject of Tesla is brought up, to hear people say “I’d love to buy one if only it wasn’t so expensive.” They really mean it, according to a recent poll.
