How You Can Live Stream The 2020 C8 Corvette Reveal On July 18th
If you are like me then you were disappointed to read that the C8 Corvette reveal was a closed event, meaning, you can't get into the building unless you were invited. Unfortunately, my invitation got lost in the mail so I was searching for the next best way to watch this piece of history be shown to us Corvette enthusiasts. Thankfully, I found it today.
GM was gracious enough to send out the information to those who signed up for live updates on the C8 Corvette page hosted by GM.
We all know by now that the event is set to take place on the 18th of July but what some of you may not know is how late into the day it's going to take place. The event starts at 7:30 PDT which for those of you on the east coast, like myself, that's 10:30 at night. It's strange if you ask me, to have an event like this taking place so late at night but I'm sure GM has a few tricks up their sleeves when it comes to this long anticipated mid-engine C8 Corvette.
The C8 Corvette image that leaked yesterday showing the rear end of the C8 Corvette is very likely the car we will be seeing on stage during the night of the 18th so be prepared to see the car in Elkhart Lake Blue or the new, C8 specific, Rapid Blue.
The date is rapidly approaching and at this point is exactly 10 days away. It's a very exciting time for any auto enthusiast but for the Corvette fans, we're losing our minds! This thing is so close now after waiting for what feels like forever.
The official livestream for the C8 Corvette reveal of the C8 Corvette can be accessed by visiting media.chevrolet.com/nextgenCorvette on July 18th beginning at 7:30 pm PDT/10:30 pm EST. The video presentation will start with Corvette video footage, then a hosted pre-show, and then the reveal presentation. Make sure to tune in so you are in the know!
