Debuting this week at the Geneva Motor Show, Rolls-Royce will be showing off a special Ghost Extended Wheelbase with a “diamond paint finish.”

This comes as the result of a buyer someone going to Rolls-Royce's Bespoke department and asked for something unique. The end result was Rolls-Royce creating a paint made from diamonds. Over the course of two months, Rolls sourced 1,000 diamonds and tried different painting methods to get the precious stones give off that special reflection. The final method devised by Rolls involved crushing the diamonds into a fine powder and then mixing it into the paint. This special paint was applied to the vehicle, followed by an extra layer of clear coat to protect the diamond powder from "the hand-polishing process.” Rolls says it took two days to paint this vehicle, which should be noted was done by hand.

Accenting this special paint finish is red and black pinstripes along the sides and on the wheels.
