Fans take on F1 pros in Super Red Bull Karting

In what was the chance of a lifetime for 50 lucky fans in Britain, Infiniti Red Bull Racing hosted an Open House event where they got to drive karts against the pros from Formula One.

Before last weekend’s British Grand Prix, a lucky group of 50 fans joined Infiniti Red Bull Racing at a Milton Keynes Karting Center for the Team's 2014 Open House event. The event celebrated the team, the fans, and the 25th birthday of Infiniti Red Bull Racing's rising star Sebastien Buemi.

Formula One drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Buemi – along with Team Principal Christian Horner and Team Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey – spent the day with the fans who had the opportunity to put the pedal to the floor and see how they stack up against the pros.

Who was the fastest?

As you can see in the video, it was a day full of fun and fans. The race team took on one another and fans for times around the kart track with mishaps and hilarity included. Despite lost wheels, spinouts, and good-natured ribbings, a winner was finally found and a trophy given over by the former champ.
