Mercedes-Benz is a German automobile manufacturer, a multinational division of Daimler AG. The brand builds luxury automobiles, buses, motor coaches and trucks. Mercedes-AMG is the performance arm and builds high-performance luxury vehicles. Mercedes-Benz is headquartered in Stuttgart, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany.

Germany is serious about building zero emissions vehicles as demonstrated by Mercedes new GLC F-Cell crossover, which will be on sale in several cities in Germany by the end of this month. The introduction did not mention the U.S. market, but there shouldn’t be any reason why we wouldn’t see this fuel cell hybrid here within a year or so after the German release.

In formulating a response to Audi’s rollout of its first BEV e-Tron very soon, more so than responding to anything Tesla, Daimler AG bizarrely unveils a whole year before its debut, its first head-on to Tesla full production BEV, a historical vehicle on its electric E-Mobility platform in CUV variant in the separate Mercedes EQ line. But they baffled the media giving it only a puzzling 200 mile range.

Mercedes-Benz shared another teaser of its first electric car EQC a full-fledged presentation of which will be held tomorrow, September 4. The Mercedes EV's unveling livestream will begin at 6PM CEST, which means 12:30 PM Eastern Standard Times if you are watching it in the United States or Canada.
