Super Cool Gear For Camping In Your Toyota Prius

As an avid Toyota Prius adventurer, I am always looking to find neat things to take camping with me. I found something rough, rugged, and affordable that I think all campers (including Prius campers) will love to have. If you are wondering what this has to do with the main picture well you will have to read to find out.

Believe it or not, camping in your Toyota Prius is a thing and a big one to boot (get it because a boot can be considered the trunk?) The appeal of the room inside Prius with the rear seats folded down allows for 1 or 2 people to live that vagabond lifestyle and tour the sites for pennies.

The hybrid gives an efficient way to travel not only in fuel savings but also in a cheap place to sleep. This freedom of less financial burden frees up more money to go more places and see more stuff.

The downside to all of this is the amount of stuff you can haul. Bedding can be bulky, and if you are on the road for a few weeks at a time, you will want all the room you can get. So, how does one get a comfortable sleep and maintain adequate space? I found just the solution and no it is not that hideous camper in the main picture. I have standards.

Bull Kelp Bedrolls - A Toyota Prius Campers Best Friend
What the heck is a Bull Kelp bedroll, and what am I doing suggesting it? Know this is not a paid promotion; I just thought it was a cool thing.

A bedroll is an all-in-one bed setup. It is like a sleeping bag but incredibly rugged. Most bedrolls are also padded, where sleeping bags are not. Think of it as a sleeping bag for your sleeping bag (insert mind blown picture here). The Bull Kelp roll even offers a built-in air mattress if you want to get extra fancy.

The exterior is typically weather-resistant, and these hearty canvas outers are no joke. There are all sorts of options and comfort levels you can choose from. Give them a quick Google to see more. (Again, not paid promo here).

Conclusion
I like the idea of a bedroll because it eliminates the need to carry a mattress and a sleeping bag while camping or backpacking. If you are one of those outdoor enthusiasts that camps in your Prius too, at least take a look and see what they have to offer.

That is all for now. Remember Today's Adventure is Tomorrow's Story.
