2022 Toyota Tundra Limited Offers Plenty of Standard Features (With Video)

My video review shows all the standard features on 2022 Tundra Limited.

I recently had an opportunity to evaluate one of the next-gen 2022 Tundra trucks. Luckily, I have been able to review most of the new Tundra trim levels currently available.

Today I am reporting back to you on the 2022 Toyota Tundra Limited.

2022 Toyota Tundra Engine

Toyota Tundra is offered in SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794, and TRD Pro.

All except the TRD Pro have a standard 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that is matched with a 10-speed automatic transmission. For all trims except the SR model (which is less), this produces 389 horsepower and 479 lb.-ft. torque.

The Tundra Hybrid (i-FORCE MAX) is standard with Tundra TRD Pro and optional with Limited, Platinum, and 1794.

Look for more power with Tundra i-FORCE MAX trucks, with 437 horsepower and 583 lb.-ft. torque.

Base twin-turbo V6 engine Tundras are now available for retail sale, with i-FORCE MAX hybrids available sometime this spring.

Potential 2022 Toyota Tundra Limited buyers will be able to choose between Double Cab and CrewMax configurations, as well as 4x2 versus 4x4.

CrewMax is offered in both 5.5-foot and 6.5-foot bed lengths.

It is interesting that in the past, a Limited in most Toyota models was considered the highest and most luxurious trim level.

This is not the case with 2022 Tundra. I would say Platinum, 1794, and TRD Pro come standard with more features.

Exterior highlights for 2022 Tundra Limited include 20-inch alloy wheels and an assortment of LED headlights and daytime running lights.

You will find many chrome and metallic silver accents along the entire truck exterior, giving it more of an upscale vibe.

The interior cabin is where you will find many upgrades from the lower Tundra SR5 trim level.

You will find SofTex seats with both driver and passenger 8-way power seats with power lumbar support. These seats are both heated and ventilated (cooled).

2022 Toyota Tundra Limited interior multimedia

Tundra Limited is where you start seeing the standard gigantic 14-inch multimedia touch screen with Toyota’s all-new Audio Multimedia system. This features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which makes life so much easier and more convenient to perform many in-cabin functions.

My 2022 Tundra Limited Video

I recently uploaded a 2022 Toyota Tundra Limited review video on my “ToyotaJeff Reviews” YouTube channel.

You will find a thorough look at both exterior and interior features that include safety, technology, buttons, controls, and much more.

Many optional upgrades are offered for Tundra Limited, including panoramic glass roof that you will see in the video.
I hope you find this video helpful with your research.

2022 Toyota Tundra Price

Prices range when talking about Toyota Tundra for 2022, including the Limited. MSRP differences are just under $6,000 between the lowest priced Tundra Limited and the highest.

For example, a Tundra Limited Double Cab 4x2 starts at $46,850. A Tundra Limited CrewMax 4x4 with 6.5-foot bed has an MSRP of $52,230.

Hi Jeff,
Happy New Year. Wishing you all the best in 2022. Thanks for very through review of the new Tundra. I'm not in the market for a pick up at this time. This would be a challenging daily driver fore since I commute 5 to 6 days a week into Manhattan NYC (Not Manhattan KS) I'm sure Manhattan KS is very nice as well. I can almost taste KC BBQ from my desk. I'm guessing the food is pretty good in San AntonioTX as well as other parts of the Lone Star State. The abundance of cabin room in the Tundra looks very nice as well. I'm hoping that our 2011 Sienna will last a few more year. For those who do purchase the all new Tundra looks like you have a great vehicle to get you down to the local BBQ in style and class and safely. Jeff I do enjoy your writing style and your digital editing (inserting of YouTube) really cool. Stay safe.
