1st Look at Lime Rush 2022 Toyota 4Runner

We are starting to learn more and more about the incoming 2022 Toyota 4Runner.

First things first, this is not a redesign year. Nor is this a year for a styling refresh.

However, we will be seeing several new features and updates on perhaps the world’s toughest SUV.

2022 Toyota 4Runner Release Date

Expect to see Toyota 4Runner arriving at dealerships (labeled 2022) in September and into October.

With Toyota recently announcing a worldwide 40% production reduction for September, it is difficult to determine how this will affect new 2022 4Runner supplies going forward.

2022 4Runner TRD Pro

4Runner TRD Pro will have a new exclusive color for 2022.

Meet Lime Rush.

Although similar in name, this will be a slightly different shade than Electric Lime Metallic announced for 2022 Tacoma TRD Pro.

The 2022 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro will be offered in Super White, Midnight Black Metallic, Magnetic Gray Metallic and Lime Rush.

The previous year 2021 TRD Pro color, Lunar Rock, will be distributed in other 4Runner trim levels for 2022.

Toyota 4Runner Lime Rush

Several businesses and social media sources are listing the new Lime Rush Toyota 4Runner on their sites.

Viewers from both of my YouTube channels, “ToyotaJeff Reviews” and “AutoJeff Reviews”, have sent me links to websites showing Lime Rush 4Runner.

Stampede Toyota in Canada has announced they are taking Lime Rush TRD Pro pre-orders.

Costco is listing the 2022 4Runner TRD Pro in all four colors as well through their member auto buying program.

Lime Rush 4Runner is Shocking

We have seen many incredible colors since Toyota has offered “exclusive TRD Pro colors” over the last several years.

Buyers have had the opportunity to purchase Inferno orange, Quicksand, Cement, Cavalry Blue, Voodoo Blue, Army Green, Lunar Rock in the past.

Lime Rush may have just stepped up and cried, “Hold My Beer.”

This may be the brightest and most shocking color since Voodoo Blue.

Most 4Runner fans are thrilled at the bold choice by Toyota. Some are waiting to see this in person. Others are not feeling it.

Time for your Toyota 4Runner Comments

Personally, I cannot wait to see my first Lime Rush 2022 Toyota 4Runner up close and personal.

Remember, Lime Rush may be a paint color you not only see for 2022 4Runner TRD Pro this year, but it might be available next year on other trim levels.

I only pose this thought based on previous Toyota 4Runner history.
