Why the Model Y Will Be the Best Selling Vehicle in the World in 2024

The Tesla Model Y will be the best selling vehicle in the world in 2024 and here's why.

Tesla Model Y - Best Selling Vehicle

Tesla has been making waves in the automotive industry for years, and its SUV offering, the Model Y, is poised to become the best-selling vehicle in the world next year in 2024.

Let's explore the reasons why the Model Y is likely to dominate the market in the coming year. We will focus on its spacious interior, performance and handling, price point and low cost as a luxury SUV, technology and software, and the ability to charge easily using the Supercharger network.

Spacious Interior

One of the biggest draws of the Model Y is its spacious interior. It offers plenty of room for passengers and cargo, making it a practical choice for families and anyone who needs to transport large items.

The Model Y can comfortably seat up to seven passengers, thanks to its optional third row of seats. It also features a large cargo area that can accommodate up to 68 cubic feet of cargo with the rear seats folded down.

Many people, including people 6 feet or taller, are able to sleep in the back of their Model Y with the seats down.

Performance and Handling

The Model Y offers impressive performance and handling for an SUV. The performance version can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 3.5 seconds, thanks to its dual-motor all-wheel drive system.

The Model Y also features an advanced suspension system that provides a smooth ride and nimble handling, making it a joy to drive on any terrain. The latest Model Y vehicles have comfort suspension.

Price Point and Low Cost as a Luxury SUV

Despite being a luxury SUV, the Model Y is competitively priced, making it accessible to a wider range of consumers. Tesla recently drastically lowered the price on the Model Y and when you combine that with an IRA tax credit of $7,500, it becomes very affordable.

Its starting price is lower than that of many other luxury SUVs, and it offers a range of features that are typically only available on higher-end models.

Additionally, the Model Y's low operating costs, thanks to its electric powertrain, mean that it will be more affordable to own and operate over the long term. You won't be changing timing belts, fixing the transmission, changing oil, or anything else that a gas car requires.

Technology and Software

Tesla is known for its advanced technology and software, and the Model Y is no exception. It features a large touchscreen display that controls many of the car's functions, including the infotainment system, climate control, and Autopilot driver assistance features.

The Model Y also offers over-the-air software updates, which means that the car can continue to improve and evolve over time.

The Ability to Charge Easily Using the Supercharger Network

One of the biggest advantages of owning a Tesla is the Supercharger network. This network of fast-charging stations allows Tesla owners to quickly and easily charge their cars while on the go.

The Model Y is no exception, and it can be charged at any Supercharger station, allowing drivers to travel long distances with ease. With the large interior space of the Model Y, you can bet that a road trip will be fun.

The Tesla Model Y has a lot of going for it, and it is poised to become the best-selling vehicle in the world next year. It's already the bestseller in California.

Its spacious interior, impressive performance and handling, competitive price point, advanced technology and software, and access to the Supercharger network make it an attractive choice for anyone in the market for a new SUV.

As more consumers turn to electric vehicles, the Model Y is likely to be at the forefront of this shift, and it will likely be a major player in the automotive industry for years to come.

Yes, I'm awaiting delivery for my new Y now !!! Will pair well with our large solar array (well, at least in the non-summer months as the ac units take too much juice for the home storage batteries during the summer).
