Tesla Car Protects From High Speed Crash

Tesla vehicles are known for their safety and a crash that could have been worse was made safer because the driver was in a Tesla.

Tesla Model Y In Accident

Tesla vehicles are known for their safety. Tesla has numerous videos that show their vehicles being crash tested in order to withstand as much force as possible.

One thing people don't realize about EVs (electric vehicles) is that the battery at the bottom provides another layer of durability, and the frunk crumpling is less of an issue because there isn't a standard combustion engine there.

Emmet Peppers, a well known Tesla investor, was sharing a story about a very close family member who was in a terrible accident in their Model Y and his family member walked away unharmed.

The driver, who was the close family member, describes how a Ford Expedition T-boned her vehicle and the driver of that vehicle, unfortunately, left in an ambulance.

Tesla Safety is Second to None

The driver of the Tesla Model Y describes how she headed straight toward the intersection with a green light when all of a sudden, she was blindsided.

She heard and felt a tremendous crash on the passenger side. The impact was so severe that the car started spinning and the passenger side airbags inflated.

She didn't know how fast she was going, or how fast the other car was going, but the crash did enough to demolish one side of her car and send it spinning.

The driver of the tow truck for the Model Y said that the Tesla vehicle saved her life and if it hadn't had the battery, the car would have flipped over on its roof instead of spinning.

The two truck driver also said that the Tesla aluminum body took the impact of the crash and saved the inhabitants, whereas steel would've been rigid and caused the passenger to absorb the impact.

Thank goodness for Tesla safety!
