Redesigned 2015 Toyota Camry coming this month

The new 2015 Camry will start to appear in late September. What you need to know.

The redesigned 2015 Toyota Camry goes on sale starting this month. Toyota announced last month that dealers are already in preparation for the new vehicle’s arrival. The 2015 Camry sports mechanical changes, new interior, and a completely new body design. The body will have similar design elements as the currently Avalon and Corolla. This new style has been very successful on those models and customer feedback has been entirely positive.

2015 Toyota Camry Marketing Plan
The 2015 Toyota Camry will be heavily marketed to current and former Camry owners. There is no single larger pool of car owners in the US. Edmunds recently reported that Toyota has spent billions renovating dealerships and upgrading its facilities. These upscale outlets are well suited to handle the ever-increasing flow of Camry customers, which continues to grow, even as the new model approaches.

2015 Camry and 2014.5 Camry Overlap
Presently, the Camry on dealer lots is the very successful 2014.5 model year car. This Top Safety Pick Plus and Consumer Reports Recommended award-winning sedan is the most popular car in the US market, edging out the Honda Accord and Ford Fusion. Through late September and Early October the outgoing and new designs will overlap. This presents buyers with an excellent bargaining position as dealers try to clear the lots of the outgoing car.

Toyota’s Official Camry Website
Although the 2014.5 Camry is the one on the “Build Your Own” section of Toyota USA, the 2015 Camry is shown on the front page of the Toyota website and can be found under the “Upcoming Vehicles” section, or readers can click this link to go directly there. We expect that the pricing and build section of the website will update about September 26th.
