Beechmont 2018 Ford Mustang GT: 700hp, $40k and a Warranty

The first big-power dealership performance package for the 2018 Ford Mustang GT that we have heard about comes from Beechmont Ford and this muscle car is an impressive option – packing 700 horsepower, an MSRP starting under $40,000 and a 3-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.

We have talked about quite a few dealership performance packages for the Ford Mustang over the past few years and this is our first look at a turnkey, big-power package for the 2018 Mustang GT. Before tax and titling fees, this 700 horsepower machine carries an MSRP of under $40,000 and it comes with the factory warranty of 3 years and 36,000 miles.

The Beechmont 2018 Mustang GT
Beechmont Ford in Cincinnati, Ohio has offered turnkey performance packages for the Ford Mustang GT for a few years and with the refreshed 2018 models, the dealership has quickly rolled out their newest ready-to-rock option package.

The basic Beechmont 700-horsepower 2018 Ford Mustang GT begins with a fastback with the 300A popular equipment group and the 6-speed manual transmission. Beechmont adds a Roush TVS 2650 Phase 1 supercharger and a canned engine tune that lifts the output to 700 horsepower and 610 lb-ft of torque at 12 pounds of boost.

Other than the fees that come with every new vehicle, there are no hidden costs with the 700-horsepower Beechmont Mustang GT for the 2018 model year, so the MSRP of $39,995 (plus fees) is actually what it will cost you to drive out with a 700-horsepower car. However, as an authorized Roush dealership, these muscle cars can be fitted with a long list of performance upgrades depending on the buyer’s choices.

Factory Warranty
Roush Performance works with Ford Motor Company when developing their performance parts so when an approved Roush dealership installs one of their superchargers, the car retains the 3-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. This results in an ownership experience that is similar to that of buying a factory-built 2018 Mustang GT, preventing many of the concerns that come with having a random performance shop add a supercharger to your Ford muscle car.

Basically, if you want one of these cars, you can go to Beechmont Ford (or call them if you don’t live in the Cincinnati area) and order your 2018 Ford Mustang GT with their 700-horsepower package. If they have the car and the parts in stock, it takes 2-3 weeks for buyer delivery, but when it is completed, you head to the dealership and pick it up like you would any other new Mustang – except this one will have 700 horsepower and 610 lb-ft of torque.

Finally, if you bought a 2018 Ford Mustang GT somewhere else, you can take the car to Beechmont Ford and for $8,995, they will install the 700-horsepower Roush supercharger package. As is the case when buying the car from them, these cars brought in for the package will maintain the 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty, but that starts from the day that the car was sold – not the day that the big-power package was installed.

Beechmont is currently waiting for superchargers to arrive, but buyers are already lining up, so if you are interested in getting yourself one of these 700-horsepower 2018 Mustang GT for $40k with a warranty, you will want to call or stop by the dealership as soon as possible.
