2019 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Gets New Stripe Colors

We still don’t have any word on more powerful versions of the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, but the company announced today that for the 2019 model year, the supercharged sedan can be ordered with three new dual stripe colors – including red, blue and silver.

The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is the most powerful, the quickest and the fastest factory-production sedan in the world. While Mopar four-door fans are hoping for some extra power from the supercharged Charger, the only physical change for the 2019 model year is the new grille with distinct air inlets on each side.

In an effort to spice up the Hellcat Charger for the 2019 model year, Dodge has just introduced three new dual stripe packages that join the lineup along with the gunmetal gray and carbon fiber stripes that have been available for a few years now.

“The Dodge Charger continues its run as the sales leader in the large car segment for the fifth year in a row,” said Steve Beahm, Head of Passenger Cars, Dodge//SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, and Service and Parts (Mopar), FCA – North America. “And as the aftermarket customization business continues to balloon, these new stripe options give Charger buyers the opportunity to make what is already the only four-door muscle car in the market even more unique, and to do it straight from the factory.”

2019 Hellcat Charger Stripes
As you can see in the images above, the new stripe packages for the 2019 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat have the same basic body-length dual design as the gunmetal and carbon fiber stripes, they are now available in blue, red and silver. There are likely some ordering restrictions so that people don’t end up with color combinations that clash, but on the black and white cars above, these new stripes look great on the Hellcat Charger.

“Exterior stripes, especially when they are a contrasting color, amplify the shape of the hood and highlight how big the air-intake is, all of which combine to truly accentuate the shape of the Charger,“ said Mark Trostle – Head of Performance, Passenger and Utility Vehicle Exterior Design, FCA US LLC. “Our customers love the ability to make their cars unique and with five different stripe colors and an awesome color palette of thirteen colors, they can truly make their Charger their own.”

Like the Gunmetal and Carbon Fiber stripes, Blue, Red and Silver all carry an MSRP of $995 and they are all available for ordering right now.

Carbon Stripes for the R/T
In addition to the Hellcat trim level getting three new stripe options, the carbon fiber stripes from the Hellcat are now available on the R/T and Scat Pack models. These stripes carry the same $995 MSRP on the R/T models as they do on the Hellcat and they are also available for order today.

I personally like the Charger with the American Racing white with blue stripes. But the real news will be announcing the 797HP RedEye versions of the Hellcat Charger and Jeep Trackhawk. I also think that Dodge is overdue in coming out with a Hellcat version of the Ram pickup and Durango SUV, with AWD.
