This'll take a bit to straighten out what the news is. I read through the SEC filing yesterday, it doesn't look good, and there are reports now saying A123 is heading into bankruptcy. I think this means the Wanxiang deal is now dead.
Oh.. I see.. it's a Chapter 11 plus a sale of assets to Johnson Controls. This means the technology will remain in the hands of an American company rather than being handed to the Chinese.
