After years of collaboration on design and development, the Nissan NV200 Taxi of Tomorrow begins sales to cabbies in New York City, despite the attempted mandate by the city commission being destroyed by a Supreme Court judge.
A couple years ago, my wife and her horse trainer (who is also a lawyer) went to a Smart dealership because the trainer was thinking about buying one. The salesman told them that they couldnt test drive a car without an appointment, although there was no one in the dealership. When they asked to look at one and make an appointment to drive one, the guy actually told them that it would be best if they came back with their husbands so that he could talk to them instead. she then told the guy something along the lines of her being surprised if any men would buy such a bitchy little car...and then she left, went to a Ford dealership and bought an F150.
