David Herron    December 27, 2012 - 5:04PM EST

In case it is helpful to you

John Goreham    December 27, 2012 - 5:16PM EST

In reply to by David Herron

I did a study of the alternative energy generated in the US about a year ago. At that time TX generated the most, and if I am not mistaken, the wind power it generated was equal to the rest of the US combined.

Right, there was a statement

David Herron    December 27, 2012 - 5:25PM EST

In reply to by John Goreham

Right, there was a statement by the New York ISO about electric vehicles and the grid - a couple years ago - where they said that a) wind power is mostly at night b) electric cars usually are charged at night ... so therefore what's the problem.

I have lots of things that I can say about this.

The problem is that GreenCarReports has an article based on a statement from 2 weeks ago ... hence, this doesn't fit within the 72 hour rule.
