I would much rather go to a drive-in and enjoy the comfort of my own vehicle than be crammed into a theater with sticky floors and questionably moist seats. My dad's car club used to have a monthly drive in movie night when i was younger...the last movie that i saw there was congo.
I grew up in them. Mom worked nights and dad figured out it was cheap way to babysit me - I was glued to the screen. I've seen that overly long Man of Steel, Dispicable Me 2, RIPD and part of World War Z.
Only problem is modern cars shut off every 15 minutes if you're running the accessory mode. That and the bathrooms at the drive-in are far worse than any theater floor.
Upside is no shooters cause the attendees would just run them down.
