Mitsubishi EV will run Pikes Peak

Keith Griffin    April 15, 2012 - 3:27PM

Trying to remember if there is a charging station on top.

Can you be more specific?

Let's see. I went back and checked Mitsubishi before I posted and there was nothing. I also checked the last day's topic reservations just to make sure.
What are you talking about? It's not helpful to say something was covered a couple of weeks ago. One it accuses me of being lazy and two it creates more work for me.
So, wondering what you might be referring to I went back and searched Pike's Peak (as you could have done). Is this what you were referring to?

There's no mention of Mitsubishi in this article.
Take a few moments going forward before spouting vagueness that wastes people's time.

This was originally announced

This was originally announced on or before Feb 29. I was recalling having seen a posting here about this at that time, or I would have posted an article on it myself. Apparently there was no article posted here so I'm confused about what had been posted here, but the news is old. (unless there's some new bit that just got revealed?)

News angle is driver and stock i

Keith Griffin    April 15, 2012 - 4:07PM

In reply to by David Herron

Beccy Gordon is driver of practically stock Mitsubishi i. You're referring to the prototype i-MiEV that is racing as announced by Mitsu on March 1 (according to the media site).
I should have been more specific and spilled out the story in 100 percent detail so you didn't waste so much time on this. Once again, a specific reference would have been very helpful - not something vague. You yourself pointed out the announcement you are talking about is SIX weeks old - not two weeks old.
I am not in the habit of posting dusty news items. Rare to see something of mine more than 72 hours old because it doesn't do well with Google.

Please show me where in your piece

you mention the stock Mitsubishi i being driven at Pikes Peak. If it is in there - and I didn't see it - I will take down my piece and never write about a Mitsubishi EV because, apparently, everything has already been written about them even before Mitsubishi knows what it is doing: http://www.torquenews.com/1079/electric-racer-tajima-challenges-conventional-engines-pikes-peak-race
I know this because 1. I read your piece a couple times (probably four now) and 2. linked to it in my piece and quoted you by name.

Can't see anybody posted about it.

I checked Feb. 29, March 1 and March 2. Maybe somebody posted about it after that but it never showed up as a topic that wasn't covered. Hope you're not this vague in all of your writing.

Carolla wins Toyota Celebrity race

Keith Griffin    April 15, 2012 - 4:31PM

Just to keep David content I went back and searched for Carolla. I also know that Nicholas (I think it was Nicholas) was there on Friday. This story will be about the top 5 celebrity finishers. That is all the detail I have for now.
