What Will Exclusive Color be for 2021 TRD Pro, Including 2021 Toyota Tacoma?

Take your guesses for the exclusive 2021 Toyota TRD Pro color this year. Potential 2021 Toyota Tacoma buyers are waiting for the big reveal.

Every year since 2015, Toyota has released a specific color for its TRD trucks and SUVs. This includes Toyota 4Runner, Tundra, Tacoma and Sequoia.

This is around the time of year when Toyota makes its big announcement.

Time for a list of previous Tacoma, Tundra, and 4Runner TRD Pro colors.

In 2015 the big color reserved exclusively for TRD Pro Toyotas was Inferno orange. 2016 brought us Quicksand. Then in 2017 we had Cement.

One of the most popular TRD Pro colors was Cavalry Blue, released in 2018. In 2019 Toyota gave us Voodoo Blue.

This current year, 2020 Tundra for example, we got a heavy dose of Army Green. This color looks tough and rugged in the 2020 Tacoma, 2020 4Runner and Sequoia as well.

It has been incredibly popular and challenging to find at dealerships across the country. Has anyone been able to find many 2020 Tacoma TRD Pro trucks lately?

But what about this 2021 Tundra TRD Pro color? How about Toyota 4Runner? And Tacoma? And Sequoia? Step right up and place your guesses.

Speculation has been making its way around Toyota forums lately. Nobody seems to know for sure the color, but many people have interesting suggestions and guesses.

Grant hoped for a specific color. “Please be yellow.”

“Maroon will be the jackpot.” Offered Alan.

“MAGMA.” Emphasized Mujtaba.

“Need to bring back the Timberland Mica green from 2nd gens!” Said Jovanee.

Damon is asking for “Radiant Red.”

Matthew had a theory. “What colors from the FJ have they not done yet?”

The FJ Cruiser – TRD Pro connection

The FJ Cruiser angle is quite intriguing. Many TRD Pro colors have come from previous FJ Cruiser colors of the past.

TRD Pro colors have come from original FJ colors such as Army Green, Cavalry Blue, Cement, Voodoo Blue, and Quicksand. TRD Pro Inferno is similar to FJ Cruiser Magma color.

Will 2021 continue this well-established FJ Cruiser pattern? Some great choices are still left hanging in the wind like Sun Fusion yellow, Radiant Red and Black Cherry.

Another angle is to pick from a handful of current Toyota colors from other models. Moon Dust and Celestite are kind of icy blue-gray shades and could look tough on something like a 2021 Tundra or a Toyota Tacoma.

Lunar Rock, a lighter greenish-gray shade, is a big seller with current RAV4 and RAV4 Hybrids. This rumor has been gaining momentum in Toyota circles over the past few weeks.

Time for your thoughts on Toyota TRD Pro Colors

Please give your thoughts and opinions on the next 2021 Toyota TRD Pro color. What do you hope it is, and what do you think it will be?

Personally, I would love to see a Black Cherry or maroon option. I am also intrigued to see how Toyota could pull off Lunar Rock in a 2021 Tacoma, or 2021 4Runner, or 2021 Tundra, or even a 2021 Sequoia.

I am not sure if Toyota will ever pull the trigger on a bright yellow, but they did do it for the FJ Cruiser and 2020 Supra.

Time for your thoughts. I cannot wait to see your guesses.
