Fans Upset Over 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Color Choice

See what 2024 Tacoma fans have to say about the TRD Pro color decision.

With the recent world premiere of 2024 Tacoma, a lot of speculation has centered around the annual selection of the Toyota TRD Pro color choice.

2024 Toyota Tacoma Limited Supersonic Red side profile

Many people, including me, thought the signature color would be revealed along with the Tacoma last month in Hawaii. That did not happen. I was there in Hawaii for the premiere (it was amazing just like new Tacoma is amazing), and I can assure you, no signature color was mentioned. Bummer.

Some fans were bummed out too and did not mind letting Toyota know about it.

“Come on Toyota. You can’t show us Tacoma without the TRD Pro color!!!” Commented Tony.

“Where is the TRD Pro color?” Asked Brian.

Keith wanted to know - badly. “Just tell us the hero color already Toyota!”

I have been generically told the signature choice for 2024 Tacoma and 2024 Tundra and 2024 4Runner and 2024 Sequoia will be announced sometime this summer. The additional time window has only fueled more talk about what Toyota Tacoma fans want to see.

Fans Comment on 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro Color

Members of Facebook online forum “Tacoma World”, along with viewers of my “ToyotaJeff Reviews” YouTube channel, spoke out on their favorite “wish list TRD Pro color” hopefuls.

Timm said. “Inferno. Best color they ever made and they only made it for 3 years. Or Blazing Blue Pearl, second best color they ever made and they only made it for 3 years.”

Brent has a contender in the green family. “It looks like the Lexus Nori-Green. Amazing in person, it'd be a great TRD-Pro color.”

“I know I'm getting one. They had shades of green for 3 yrs. We’re on the red/orange kick right now. Had blue for a couple and then the flats of cement and quicksand. Blue or orange would be nice.” Added Mo.

Robsta mentioned. “Brick Red or Clay-like color would be awesome. Or Cement or something similar to it. Or bring back cement anyway and get rid of lunar rock.” I happen to really like Lunar Rock, by the way, Robsta. Wait, I love cement color too. We we do them both?

“Mercedes has a special Desert a silver Metallic that’s like a combo of desert sand and silver that would look great. Maybe a gold color.” Said BPBoy (check out Bronze Oxide on Tacoma Trailhunter BPBoy).

Victor had a great thought. “My money would be on the underground paint on Corolla and Camrys now.”

Time for Your Toyota Tacoma Comments

2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD PreRunner Underground back end profile

Underground was on my short list of “Jeff’s TRD Pro wish list colors” too. Luckily, Underground was announced as a 2024 Toyota Tacoma color on certain trim levels (like TRD PreRunner). But just not for TRD Pro (well maybe it is – not confirmed or denied yet).

My other favorites would be black cherry, sun fusion yellow, and brick red.

What color are you hoping the unique 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro color will be? Well, for Toyota Tundra and Toyota Sequoia and Toyota 4Runner as well.

Thanks for reading everyone. See you next story.

Who cares what color it's going to be? This isn't news, it's just a poorly-written collection of haphazardly-edited random comments about the color of a vehicle that hasn't even been manufactured yet!

Best prediction I have seen is a blue and gray color. Fits the market trend. I would loke to see voodoo blue come back.
