Jaguar intends to stir it up a bit in 2015

The automotive world will be anxiously waiting to see if the 2016 Jaguar XE lives up to the hype. The all-new compact premium sports sedan will hit the streets ready to stir the melting pot of current cars.

According to everything I have read so far, the XE will cause the automotive world to take a long look and maybe even a second look to see what the future is supposed to look like. Jaguar needed to complete the successful XF and XJ sedan line-up with a smaller version that is just as impressive. The XF and XJ sedans offer a certain style and luxury that Jaguar owners have come to expect and the XE needs to follow closely. Jaguar says this new sports sedan will “challenge the status quo of luxury car brands and rewrite the rules of its class”.

This sedan may be one of the most exciting new cars to launch in many years and part of the anticipation is due to its state-of-the art advanced aluminum design. Jaguar describes the high-tech architecture in this way “the lightweight aluminum construction creates an incredibly strong body, as well as helps to deliver power with responsive handling and refinement”.

Many times the downfall or slump car makers can fall into it just being satisfied with what has worked for them in the past. They roll on for a few years and before they realize it, the market has shifted and what worked two years ago is old news now. The fast paced high-tech world we live in today is ever changing and if you don’t keep up with the latest trends and bring fresh new ideas to the consumer, you will get left behind.

Jaguar is pushing the limits of design and style with this new XE sedan and Car and Driver says “This sexy new cat is preparing to pounce on the BMW 3-Series”. When this car hits the market, the alarms will sound because the other cars in this class will get a wake-up call….they may not be able to answer by using yesterday’s technology! Jaguar will enter the ring next year with a lightweight fighter who’s eager to go toe-to-toe with the big three from Germany and the XE will set its sights on the 3-Series. BMW sold nearly 120,000 of their 3-Series cars worldwide in 2013 vs. 76,000 sold by Jaguar but it will be a new fight when the XE enters the ring. Not only will the XE be ready to pounce but it will be a nimble contender with laser focused aim and ready to rewrite the record books with every punch.

Can Jaguar make a difference with this car… will the current market support a new contender? When the consumer becomes bored with the automotive buffet, you may have to stir the pot and sprinkle in a little excitement and Jaguar will be the talk of the town in 2015 as they strive to reach the pinnacle of a highly competitive market.

Stay tuned for part 2 as we take a look at how Jaguar will stay on top.
