Tesla Cybertruck For Kids: Sold Out

On Tesla's website, there is a most peculiar product being sold. It's the Cybertruck for kids, and it retails for $1,500. Unfortunately, as of right now, it's out of stock. That means there was a rush of people who ordered it when it came out.

Tesla has a link available to be emailed when the item is restocked, so rest assured that there will be more of these if you are wanting to get a Cybertruck for kids.

The Cybertruck for kids includes the following:

  • 22 volt battery
  • 500 Watt motor
  • 10 mph max speed
  • high/low speed switch (10 mph/5 mph)
  • Up to 12 miles of range
  • LED headlight and taillight

Up to 12 miles of range is pretty good! This will be a nice toy for those who have kids that like to play in the backyard or in the driveway.

Tesla also has this to say about the Cybertruck for kids:

Now available (for kids) on earth, our all-electric, Cybertruck for kids four-wheel ride-on toy is inspired by our iconic Cybertruck design and features an adjustable seat, rear-wheel drive and electric braking and LED head lights and tail lights. Powered by a lithium-ion battery with up to 12 miles of range and a 500 watt motor with a top speed of 10 mph, Cybertruck for kids seats two comfortably, and is suitable for drivers 6-12 years old.

For 12 miles of range, I'd expect an around 2 to 3 kWh battery due to the light weight of the truck.

$1,500 For an All Electric Kids Truck

This toy Tesla Cybertruck retails for $1,500 and considering everything that it comes with, that isn't too bad.

The truck will be delivered in late December 2023, and it is not guaranteed to arrive before the holidays.

How can I purchase a Cybertruck for Kids?

Cybertruck for kids can only be purchased through the U.S. Tesla Shop.

How does Cybertruck for Kids ship?

Cybertruck for Kids ships via AIT Worldwide Logistics and has dimensions of 66” x 38” x 31” and weighs 158 lbs.

Note: Cybertruck for Kids can only be shipped to the lower 48 United States. It cannot be shipped to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico.

The recommended age range for Cybertruck for Kids is 6–12 years old.

What is the maximum speed?

Cybertruck for Kids has three speed settings:

  • Setting 1: 5 mph
  • Setting 2: 10 mph
  • Reverse: 2 mph
  • Note: The speed settings can be limited to a maximum of 5 mph for new riders, if desired. 

What is the battery range?

The battery has a range of approximately 12 miles. The battery range can vary by user’s weight, riding terrain and speed.

How do I charge my Cybertruck for Kids? How long does it take to charge?

Plug the charger into the bottom of the battery. A completely discharged battery can take up to five hours to completely charge. For full charging instructions, view the Cybertruck for Kids manual instructions.

Cancelations

Is it possible to cancel my order?

It may be possible to cancel your order if it has not been processed yet.

To verify if the item(s) in your Tesla Shop order can still be canceled, follow these steps:

  • Sign in to your Tesla Account.
  • Go to Order History.
  • Select ‘Order Details’ for the applicable order.

If the item(s) are eligible for cancelation, the option to cancel will be visible. If the order is being processed by our distribution center or has already shipped, but the item is still eligible for return, then the option to initiate a return will be shown instead. If the item(s) are ineligible for cancelation or return, then neither option will be shown.

Note: Once checkout has been completed, we are unable to edit the shipping address or contents within an order. Tesla is not liable if the incorrect shipping address is entered at checkout.

Returns

Can Cybertruck for Kids be returned?

Cybertruck for kids can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Sign in to your Tesla Account and start a return from your order details.

All Cybertruck for Kids must be returned in new, unopened condition. If a Cybertruck for Kids box has been opened, the product is no longer eligible for return.

All Cybertruck for Kids returns will incur a 20% restocking fee.

Warranty

How can I make a warranty claim?

Reach out to Tesla Customer Support. Cybertruck for Kids has a limited one-year warranty period.
