Car Owners Who Don’t Pay Their Car Repair Bills

Here is the latest in a short take on six vehicles that includes a 1953 Chevy truck that this mechanic says literally ruined his customers’ lives by contributing to and compounding bad decisions owners make when it comes to their approach on cars and life.

Horror Stories Ahead

Six cars that literally broke my customers…absolutely ruined them,” is the opening line to a recent Car Wizard YouTube channel episode in which the host sits down and discusses how customers he has worked with wound up spending way too much money on a car that should have been let go or not bought in the first place; decided to stiff their mechanic and bank after repairs; believed an expensive sports car is an investment; and other stories that get progressively worse with each telling.

The value of this video is that it serves as a warning to car owners not so much about particular makes and models—although there is some of that here—but as examples of how some people ruin their lives with a car that carries them down a path of destruction and misery.

In case you are wondering what makes and models were involved, here is a list of the six:

• 2007 GMC Acadia
• 2001 Mazda Millenia
• 1985 Porsche 928
• 1986 Mercedes 190E
• 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
• 1953 Chevy Half-Ton Truck

And, just in case you are not sure that you want to put the time into the video, the moral of these six short stories is that when it comes to cars, you have to budget your repairs and consider how your repair decisions can affect your spouse and your family.
