It’s a Misdemeanor…at Best

Deciding to push your car as fast as it can go can get you more than just a speeding ticket according to a recent Lehto’s Law YouTube channel episode. The story goes that the owner of a 1970 Chevy Nova achieved a speed slightly over 130 miles per hour and decided to record his traffic violation and post it on social media.

Bad idea.

Local authorities got wind of the video and did a little detective work and found out who the driver was and arrested him for reckless driving, which it turns out is a misdemeanor that carries heavier penalties than just being a simple speeding ticket matter.
