New Subaru Forester Invigorates Urban-Adventurers

Subaru says the all-new 2019 Forester is the most adventurous Forester ever. Here’s what makes it a good vehicle for outdoor enthusiasts.

If you have ever gone camping, you know how invigorating it can be. Getting up and smelling the crisp air and hearing the river next to you can revitalize you. Young couples looking to get away from civilization and experience this have a couple of options. You can buy a 4x4 truck that will go off-road and get a small camper, or you can buy a new Subaru Forester SUV. The Camden, N.J. automaker has a new round of TV spots geared towards young urban couples who want to spend their weekends exploring the outdoors. The Forester makes a good vehicle for adventure enthusiasts.

Subaru’s new TV spot created by Carmichael Lynch has this one right. Those who are new to the Subaru brand may not know how sought after Forester is for its extreme off-road abilities. Subaru’s all-wheel-drive vehicles have a reputation as go-anywhere workhorses and Forester still leads the way for the Japanese automaker.

Many Forester owners won’t be sitting on the couch watching extreme sports. Owners will use the small crossover to enjoy extreme winter sports in the mountains around the globe for skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. The all-new 2019 Subaru Forester will be used for weekend adventures like getting to the trailhead for hiking, mountain biking, trail running, and backcountry fishing trips.

Forester comes with 8.7 inches of ground clearance, standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and comes equipped with a new Dual-function X-MODE, an off-road system that offers extreme control when you need max control of the vehicle. The couple in the video below doesn’t need to buy a 4x4 truck to get away from civilization or buy a small camper, they just fold down the rear seats and sleep in the back.

Forester has been the go-to SUV for those who want to get off the beaten path, and its reputation as a go-anywhere vehicle still fits today and has a specific purpose in the lineup. The 2019 Subaru Forester competes with the “more civilized” Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5, and Ford Escape models.
