Best 2018 Subaru Outback, Forester, Crosstrek Holiday Deals

Ever wonder why Subaru doesn’t have any cars in their ads this time of year?

You won’t see Subaru ads for their vehicles this week, because of the automaker's signature "Share the Love" event going on now through January 2. It’s where Subaru donates $250 to charities like American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Meals on Wheels and National Park Foundation, for each vehicle sold between Nov. 16 and January 2, 2018.

Alan Bethke, Subaru of America's senior vice president of marketing, told Automotive News recently why you won’t see any of their cars in the ads. "Subaru has always found success by being different, At this time of year, you can turn on your TV and every ad you see is basically the same. They're all snow or Santa or bows. All of our creative last year focused exclusively on the charity and the people being helped and their need, and not on a car," Bethke said. "There wasn't a Subaru at all in any 'Share the Love' creative. And this year, the same thing."

But that doesn’t mean they don’t have great holiday car deals going on for their 2018 Subaru Outback, 2018 Subaru Forester and 2018 Subaru Crosstrek all-wheel-drive models. We’ve checked a few deals on the top three vehicles in their lineup if you are looking for a sweet holiday car deal on an all-wheel-drive Subaru SUV, wagon, or crossover.

2018 Subaru holiday car deals

If you’re looking at purchasing a new 2018 Subaru Outback, Forester or Crosstrek, the Japanese automaker is offering zero percent financing for 63 months with a monthly payment of $15.87 per $1000 borrowed. There’s no down payment required, and the offer is good now through January 2, 2018.

If you are looking at leasing, you can get a 36-month lease for $239/Month on a new 2018 Outback 2.5i with $1,759 due at lease signing and $0 security deposit. The 2018 Subaru Forester 2.5i 6MT model is $239/Month on a 36-month lease with $1,739 due at lease signing with $0 security deposit. A 2018 Subaru Crosstrek 2.0i 6MT model is $219/Month on a 36-month lease, $1,999 due at lease signing and $0 security deposit.

Subaru also has similar holiday car deals on Impreza, Legacy, WRX and BRZ. So even though you won’t see a 2018 Subaru Outback, Forester or Crosstrek in any holiday ads, Subaru believes "Share the Love," creates an impression of what kind of car company they are. "We think that's been a nice way to connect with people," Bethke said. "Maybe they're not in market to buy a car. Maybe they never thought about Subaru in the past. It's a way to start to say 'Hey, Subaru cares about the things I care about.' "

The 0% financing for the Crosstrek is for the 2017 model, not the 2018 according to the Subaru.com website. Is there a 0% promotion they're not posting?
