The 2015 Scion Release Series 1.0 was revealed back in April, but the cars were not ready to go until now. Scion says that the cars are available for order or a lucky buyer might find on in stock at a Toyota/Scion dealership. Those Scion FR-S shoppers planning to modify their FR-S may want to look closely at this special edition before they buy.

2015 Scion Release Series 1.0 Features
Scion’s new 2015 FR-S Release Series 1.0 takes an already great looking sports car and makes it look and perform even better. The car is lowered on Toyota Racing Development (TRD) springs. Scion forums are filled with lowered FR-S cars and this is a modification that makes good sense from the factory.

Wheels are black, 10-spoke alloys that offset the Yuza-yellow paint. The read quad exhaust tips also are surrounded by black accenting. The overall look of the car works.
A TRD steering wheel and seats with a custom T-pattern stitching are the main interior customizations. A Smart Key, custom mats, and HID Headlamps with LED running lights add value to the package price.

2015 Scion Release Series 1.0 Features
The 2015 Scion FR-S comes with a manual, 6-speed transmission at a price of $30,760 including the delivery fee. To that, plan to add dealer documentation fees, which will bring the price to around $31,100 before you begin to negotiate. If you are physically incapable of driving a manual and require an automatic FR-S, the price is $1,100 higher. If you were thinking of getting this car with automatic for other reasons, shame on you. You are missing the whole point.
