Nissan Heisman House Returns to ESPN

With college football heating up, the Nissan Heisman House is returning for its fourth season as part of the Heisman Trophy Trust's charitable work. Former Heisman winners will once again be showcased on ESPN via the House.

For the 2014 college football season, the Nissan Heisman House video shorts this year will feature 11 "house mates," all of which are former Heisman Trophy recipients including a newcomer, Johnny Manziel.

The broadcast spots, as they have in the past, are aimed at entertainment and humor. To debut the 2014-15 season, ESPN showcased a "behind the scenes" look at the Nissan Heisman House on ESPNU two weeks ago. A dedicated website to this year's Heisman House is online as well, debuting today as spots officially begin airing.

The video vignettes will appear on ESPN broadcasts during the college football season and will complement the charitable work that the Heisman Trophy Trust and Nissan do in conjunction with the athletic greats who populate the trophy's roster.

This year, community support will include a Heisman House Tour that will travel to college campuses nationally through the season. The concept of the house revolves around the online platform, www.NissanHeismanHouse.com, where fans can tour the house, learn about current members, vote for the next Heisman Trophy winner and watch behind-the-scenes footage filmed during the campaign production.
