The Forza Motorsport 5 Vehicle List Grows to 108 Cars, Trucks and SUVs

To raise the already high levels of anticipation for Forza Motorsport 5, the company responsible for the industry leading racing simulator has been gradually announcing the vehicles coming to FM5 over the past few weeks. Last week’s group added 21 vehicles and this week’s list was the largest thus far – introducing 24 vehicles that will be available in the virtual new car dealerships on Forza 5. In total, there have been 108 vehicles officially announced for the next generation Forza driving simulator and with 5 weeks left before the game hits shelves around the country, we can expect to learn about at least a hundred more before the public is lining up to buy the game and their new Xbox One. Then again, when you consider the fact that Forza Motorsport 4 has almost 700 cars – it will be interesting to see just how Turn 10 announces more vehicles over the coming weeks.

For the week of 10-7 to 10-11, Turn 10 introduced 21 new cars and sport utility vehicles with the headliners from that week including the 2007 Ford Shelby GT500, the 1987 Buick Regal GNX, the 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR and the 1983 Audi Sport Quattro. This week’s Forza Motorsport 5 new vehicle list includes 24 cars with some of the most popular modern sports cars really offering something for pretty much every gaming gearhead. American car fans will be excited to see the 2013 Viper #91 SRT Motorsport GTS-R, the 2005 Ford GT and the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 while European fans will surely be excited to hear that the 1991 BMW M3, the 2009 Lotus 2-Eleven, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series and the 1967 Lamborghini Miura P400 are now officially “in” for FM5. Finally, this new list includes an impressive collection of modern and vintage Japanese sports cars like the 1985 Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex, the 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR, the 2011 Subaru WRX STI and the 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition.
