The 2017 Dodge Charger Daytona debuted at a small private event leading up to the 2016 Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit and at that point, we learned all of the key information on these new trimlines. On the inside, the Charger Daytona sports heated and cooled Nappa leather seats with the Daytona logo embroidered on the seatback.

All of that is standard for the base price of $40,985, but there are still a few options and popular equipment packages for the 2017 Charger Daytona. The Beats Audio package adds $995, the Driver Confidence Group (HID headlights, power/heated mirrors, blind spot detection, backup camera) adds $1,395, the navigation and travel group (nav, backup camera, satellite radio) adds $1,095 and the Technology Group (adaptive cruise control, advanced braking assist, auto high beams, rain sensing wipers, power/heated exterior mirrors with blind spot alert) adds $1,495 – while the heavy braking package ($195), summer performance tires ($395), power sunroof ($1,195) and the Daytona car cover ($375) are all offered as standalone options.

So, if you build a 2017 Charger Daytona with the sunroof, car cover, heavy duty brakes and all four of the above-mentioned popular equipment group packages, you get an MSRP of $47,430.

Building the Charger Daytona 392
If you want more power from your 2017 Dodge Charger Daytona, the Daytona 392 package is the Mopar muscle sedan for you. Starting at $46,090 with destination, this package includes the exterior appearance goodies of the Daytona package, a leather-clad interior sport suspension, the huge Brembo brake package from the Hellcat Charger, unique 20 inch wheels wrapped in the Hellcat’s sticky Pirelli rubber and a 180mph speedometer.

The Charger Daytona 392 has the same exterior color options, the Beats Audio group, the Technology Group, the car cover and the power sunroof of the 5.7L-powered Daytona, but the 392 package has a few different options – beginning with the $595 Pirelli P Zero summer performance tires. Also, the Daytona 392 Driver Confidence Group is available, but it does not include the backup camera system (which is standard on the Daytona 392), so it costs a bit less at $895.

When you build a 2017 Dodge Charger Daytona 392 with all three popular equipment groups, the car cover, the sunroof and the performance tires – you get a total price of $51,295.

For those wondering – since it frequently comes up in online discussions – the 2017 Charger SRT 392 with all of the same options (along with the SRT-specific adaptive suspension and premium interior layout) has an MSRP of $57,620…so the Daytona 392 is a nice bargain model for someone who doesn’t need the premium leather or the fancy suspension.
