Kia Launches "Kia Service" Google Voice Assistant for Service Requests

Kia has launched "Kia Service" Google Voice Assistant, a new application created to make service requests a fast and hassle-free experience.

Available through Google Voice Assistant and Facebook Messenger, it's a simple and convenient new way for customers to contact Kia and dealer support.

Using voice commands, the new application allows customers to request information about the service when and where they prefer. Just say, "Hi Google, speak to Kia support" on any device with Google Assistant.

Customers can also use the application to request directions to the nearest dealership, depending on the user's location at all times. It also provides answers to frequently asked questions, such as warranty conditions or service intervals.

Kia updates all data centrally via the cloud, ensuring that customers receive the latest information on dealerships. Real-time updates also help customers receive special offers based on service promotions, with responses sent directly to the user's mobile phone.

"Our aim is to introduce innovative products and services that satisfy our customers and add to the unparalleled experience of using a Kia. With 'Kia Service' Google Voice Assistant, our customers can request service information at any time," explains Jason Jeong, President of Kia Europe.

“Kia Service” Google Voice Assistant follows the relaunch of the Kia brand earlier this year, which is part of Kia's long-term Plan S strategy to establish a leadership position in the future automotive industry. An important element of this strategy is to prioritize customers, developing products and services that offer innovative and useful solutions. It is scheduled to be rolled out in all European markets by the end of 2021.

Ireland as a Pilot Market for Kia Service

The “Kia Service” Google Voice Assistant application has been jointly developed by Kia Europe and Kia Ireland. The service is now available in Ireland, on any device with Google Assistant, simply by saying "Hey Google, talk to Kia Service", or through the Kia Ireland Facebook page.

"We are delighted to be working with our colleagues at Kia Europe on this project and that Ireland is the first to see this innovation. If we add this to our suite of online offerings, such as our already successful service booking tool KiaService.ie , Irish customers will have more ways to access our services, when they want and how they want." says Adam Fogarty, Kia Ireland Project Manager.

Today Kia reported net quarter earnings for Q1, 2021 with some very impressive results and concerns.
