Man Loses Jeep-Like Vehicle and Trailer at Boat Ramp

This vehicle owner was able to escape, but he lost his what seems like a Jeep and the trailer at boat ramp in Victoria, Australia, shows this Youtube Video made in 2012. Some viewers suggested this could be an insurance scam, but I doubt it's an insurance scam on a Jeep that old. Is this a Jeep?

It,s actually a Datsun (now called Nissan) G60 made between 1960s- to mid 1970s getting rare nowadays.
