Subaru is the best. No other vehicles feature all the marketing features of Subarus.

Why is Subaru starting to have quality problems in the past few years it is very unlike you. Is it because they are so popular that quality is slipping? Love my 2012 Outback with 130,000 miles.

I love my outback, was fantastic in the snow! Only gripe is steering wheel should extend. More tint on windshield. My hands burn driving in sun. Dog does too!

My new outback sat in my carport 8 months because the battery was always dead. If subaru sent someone to jump start it it would get me to an appointment 2 or more hours late and then was dead when I needed to go home. I missed an operation and still suffer great pain. I am taking taxis to Dr appointments. 75 years old, medical problems and live in a remote area. I need a dependable car. The battery dies if the lift gate is open 20 minutes. And for what is supposed to be a car for the outdoors not being able to keep the lift gate open is absurd. Last week i spent $300.00 for a new battery, not a subaru battery and a trickler maintenance device. I would trade this car in or sell it if I could. It's a new car and it would take a loss of at least 5 or more grand to sell it. If it will never be dependable then to me it's just a piece of junk.

Mona,
I sympathize because I am having the same problem, 76 years old, husband with Dementia, and continue to be stranded, sometimes with him in car or on way to the doctor. There is a MAJOR battery drain going on. They have been unable to solve it at the dealer, even after keeping it for a week!

Why would you need to keep your hatch open for 20 minutes. No reason for that. 2nd You know what causes it to go bad but you continue to do it ? Why ? Buy a battery jumper box it's a little box the size of apack of cigarettes, but will jump your car 10 times. Just put it in the cigarette lighter and it goes to your battery.
