Oh PLEASE LET IT HAPPEN IN THE USA SOOOON! I’ve been begging and pleading and honestly praying this would happen. I vowed my next vehicle to be all electric or I would keep my 2015 until it died a slow and that means never death. My husband and I have had 7 Subarus between us and his Outback touring i drive more than my Forester, mainly for comfort. I also want to help save our planet in my own way. Due to my requirements for high ground clearance the Tesla’s are out. I’ve been drooling over the Volvo CX Recharge but the price tag is super steep and I’d rather my husband retire in 5 years! So if they could see their way clear to keeping the price tag sub 40k, AND up their electronics reliability plus keep All-wheel drive and offer a touring model - then sign me up dudes! Right now! Dump the opaque colors and give be a Candy Apple rich red like the Mazda CX-5 and I’ll buy two! Okay maybe not, But I’d love to be their spokesperson for handicapped people!
